People Pulse is a mobile-first public opinion app. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how to contact us.
Information We Collect
We may collect the following information when you use People Pulse:
- Email address for sign-in, account support, and account recovery.
- Waitlist information, such as email address, optional home state, optional platform preference, signup source, and abuse-prevention records.
- Authentication data such as sign-in sessions and one-time passcode request records.
- Poll activity, including votes, follow-up poll answers, saved polls, and report submissions.
- Home state preference when you choose a state for Local polls.
- Basic app analytics, such as feed interactions, refreshes, and error events.
- Technical data such as device, network, request, and security logs needed to operate the service.
How We Use Information
- To provide the feed, voting, saved polls, Local polls, and account features.
- To manage the waitlist, understand launch demand by state/platform, and send future invite or launch updates.
- To protect the service from abuse, spam, fraud, and unauthorized access.
- To understand product quality and improve poll relevance.
- To respond to support requests and user reports.
- To comply with legal, safety, and app store requirements.
Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We may use service providers for hosting, email delivery, analytics, database operations, and security monitoring. These providers process information only to help us operate People Pulse.
Poll Results
Poll results may be shown in aggregate. Individual account identifiers are not shown publicly as part of poll result displays.
Account Deletion
People Pulse includes an in-app account deletion flow. You may also contact support@people-pulse.com for help with privacy or account questions.
Children
People Pulse is intended for users 17 and older. We do not knowingly allow users under 17 to create accounts.
Changes
We may update this policy as People Pulse develops. The latest version will be posted on this page.
